HR-Office Coordinator
CRSS is seeking an HR-Office Coordinator. This is a 12 month position with benefits, PTO, and retirement plan. The HR-Office Coordinator contributes to the Administrative team and oversees the daily functioning of employee personnel in the HR role, benefits, and payroll; including oversight of food services, accounts payable/receivable and custodial/maintenance.

Middle School Science Teacher 
Cannon River STEM School is looking for a full time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. 

The Middle School  Science Teacher will support CRSS’s vision is to become an innovative leader in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Minnesota while creating a community of students who love to learn.  Teachers at CRSS are responsible for bringing the CRSS mission to life, fostering each student’s innate curiosity and joy of discovery. Our teachers prepare students to become excellent questioners, scientific thinkers, and responsible citizens, who are able to contribute to the world with confidence and character. Teachers achieve this through student-centered, collaborative and experiential learning, with an emphasis on the environment as an integrating context.  Teachers are responsible for organizing and implementing instructional programs to meet and exceed the K-8 standards set by the Cannon River STEM School and State and Federal governments.

 

Applicants should have (or have the ability to obtain) a valid MN teaching license and a degree and a passion for being outdoors.

Social Emotional Learning Interventionist 

The SEL Interventionist will assist in affecting positive social, emotional, and behavioral changes in students, supporting and coaching to improve overall behavior proficiency, providing supportive interventions to students, families, and working with community partners to develop a continuum of support for students and families. Interventions should promote positive educational and interpersonal outcomes for all students and are embedded in the historical social work commitment to social and economic justice for all people.

School Social Worker

Cannon River STEM School is seeking an additional full time School Social Worker for the 2021-2022 school year.

The uniqueness of School Social Work lies in the systems perspective in which the student is viewed within the context of the classroom, the family, the community, and his or her culture.  The social worker utilizes a number of theoretical constructs (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral, Solution/Strengths Focused, and Psychodynamic Theories) in addition to Systems Theory to create positive change and enhance school success.  The goal of the position is for the social worker to serve as a conduit to existing community and societal resources and to assess the student's’ personal, social, and emotional needs to maximize family and student growth across the settings of school, home and the community.  Interventions that promote positive educational and interpersonal outcomes for all students are embedded in the historical social work commitment to social and economic justice for all people.

Cannon River STEM School is seeking full time Special Education Paraprofessionals

We are seeking one paraprofessional with with ASL experience and one paraprofessional where ASL experience is not necessary.

Our Paraprofessionals provide instructional support for students depending on each student's needs and will assist classroom teachers with their instructional responsibilities. All CRSS paraprofessionals provide academic, social and emotional, and physical supports to individual or small groups of students under the direction of the Student Services Coordinator, Special Education Teachers and Classroom Teachers.

Experience working with children, especially those with special needs is desired. The ability to build relationships with children, parents, and teachers is an important asset in this position.
