Hello everyone!

 

My name is Alyssa Clark and I teach 1st grade. I have taught at CRSS for 4 years after substitute teaching here for a year. I love being apart of this school and integrating nature within our learning! It is important for young children to use their inherent sense of curiosity to guide their learning which is what we strive for at our school. 1st grade is such an important year in your child's school life as they are making giant leaps across stepping stones. I enjoy seeing the growth in each child throughout the year! It is very important to me to bridge the gap between home and school by building positive relationships with students and their families. In our classroom, we focus a lot on building our classroom community to support one another.
